With Fada – Issue 1 explores voice, place, and presence within Ireland’s contemporary creative landscape. Featuring an interview by Seán Ó Murchú with Esmeralda Road on tokenism and social media, the issue also introduces Cúpla, showcasing the Daniel O’Donnell dress worn by CMAT alongside their brand-building process and thoughts on the Irish creative scene.

It includes a heartfelt story from Margot Paisner about her first night in Belfast and Maddens Bar, a vivid and humorous poem by Amy O’Brien, and introduces the work of illustrator Niamh McWilliams-Small (Papersleeve). Together, these pieces set the tone for a magazine rooted in honest conversation, lived experience, and creative connection.
